New program - starting January 2010! |
SDTA Peak Performance GroupEarly Release/Home School Program |
Stephen Diaz Tennis Academy offers a well designed high performance training program for players that are looking for more hours of overall tennis training. Similar to our High Performance Premier & Championship levels, this group stresses a strong work ethic, solid discipline, and each student must have aspirations of playing high level junior tennis that will eventually lead them to playing college tennis. Over the years SDTA has developed many state & southern champions as well as nationally recognized players that have gone to play to top division 1 level schools. This program is designed for players that are highly self motivated, that are currently playing high level state & southern tournaments and are looking to excel at the national level. By adding more hours of training during the week, players will spend many hours working heavily on all aspects of the game from the technical to the mental, physical & tactical in order to take their game to a higher level.
Players in this group get their education from either a home-school program or an early release program at their current schools. Players that are looking for more training must petition their school in order to be allowed to participate in this program. This program will ensure that each student is well prepared for high level tournament competition. The Peak Performance Group involves small groups training, personalized coaching, strength & conditioning, tournament advice and training. It requires commitment and each student will be expected and be responsible for meeting all requirements.
